We have a different approach that it’s not offshoring or off-putting. Nearsoft was created by people who faced the same problem you are facing today: a shortage of developers, limited budgets, and bad offshoring options. So, we built the company we wish we could have worked with to grow our own development team.
How We Engage with New Clients
The most important thing when hiring people is their skillset, experience, and English skills. Most of our developers work in an Agile or Scrum environment, meaning there are frequent meetings between US and nearshore teams. You wants to be as inclusive with these teams as possible, because it goes a long way to understanding the full picture of the project.
We always say to developers “there is no such thing as over-communication,” so we encourage them to communicate as much as possible, even if sometimes it feels redundant.
Each situation is different and we accommodate each client as needed.
We have created a culture that is attractive to software developers who approach their work as a craft. Our clients put a lot of love into creating their software, and they don’t want just anybody to come in and mess with it.
As any of our Clients will tell you, “the Nearsoft folks are talented, they speak up, self-direct, and show initiative.” This pays off in spades for our Clients, in higher productivity and better quality.
